“Gasoline prices nationwide could return to $4 a gallon or more around midyear with some areas approaching $5 before prices ebb back, a company that follows the oil industry predicts.
Given current and foreseeable conditions, the median nationwide price per gallon for regular unleaded gas could peak at $3.95 in May, analysts for GasBuddy.com said in a forecast released today. During that month, the national average could range between $3.75 and $4.15 a gallon, they said.”
